It's like they played the Sims, and made a little 4x4 tile house, and thought "Hey, my sims live comfortably enough - why can't ordinary people live like that? Housing crisis solved - the free market triumphs over quasi-socialism again! :downs:"

In this day and age how can the first solution that comes to their mind be, "what if, freer markets?" and "what if we were more like Kowloon?".

So the alcohol minimum princing comes into effect in Scotland today.

So an attempt to cure a societal ill through government policy, surprise suprise, is going to kill thousands of people because alcohol prices, in certain cases, just went up by over 300%.

Liam Fox saying the Lords are trying to 'thwart the will of the British people' by giving the decision on whether the deal is good enough to the representatives of the people instead of a handful of incompetent ministers.

The Lords still needs further reform, but as unelected second chambers go, they're doing a pretty good job arguing for their continued existence right now.

A is more often feco-oral route through food or water. It can occur anywhere, but it's associated with Africa and Asia.
B is more commonly associated with bodily fluids, sexual transmission, and S.E. Asia.
C is most commonly associated with drug use and sharps, but there's a ton of people who got it through transplants or transfusions before they even knew what C was in the 80s.

There's some others too but they've never been the focus of public health campaigns so I have no idea what people associate Hep E with.
