Thinking of the cutscene where you first meet Ganondorf when he's chasing Zelda on horseback, and he laughs really really slowly. Can't press A to skip the text or anything. The game wants you to know that this man takes a long time to laugh.

also the ending cinematic of everyone celebrating, but Mido and King Zora sitting together, dejected, just before the the seven sages gather to watch over Hyrule as the sun rises. Navi leaves, no words needed, as you leave the Master Sword to its rest... to this date it's the strongest gaming feel I've ever experienced. it gets me every god drat time. On topic: the cutscene when you teach the dancing twins in Clock Town the funny mushroom dance. I used to rewind time and just do that over and over when I was a kid bc I thought it was rad.

Its not OOT but the music in Hyrule castle slowly transitioning to Ganondorfs theme in Twilight Princess is one of the coolest moments in the series

wind waker has my absolute favorite story of all the zeldas..even though it's all text, with the music and timing you can tell he just bellows "YOUR GODS DESTROYED YOU!" that and everything about the final battle really stuck with me

first time i played wind waker was on spring break and i stayed up for like 18 hours straight and only went to bed bcause my mom yelled at me, then did it two more times and beat the game. i walked out of my room to dinner in a daze with the ending song playing thinking about slamming the master sword into ganons forehead. top 5 gaming memories for me for sure

the first time i played a zelda+n64 game, my older brother hogged the poo poo out of the n64 and he got stuck on bongo bongo. i had just been watching him play the whole time and never even held the controller, and I said he sucked. so he chucks the controller at me and tells me to do it, and i beat it while figuring out what all the buttons do on the first try and he said "whatever, youre like a human being loser"

earning chunks of the end credit scenes in majoras mask by receiving all the masks, with the companion mask's payoff being this huge meeting of the entire town for anju's wedding was such a sweet payoff
