Has anyone done a write-up on these anti-masker anti-lockdown movements that are popping up? The ones in Denmark seem to be a particularly dumb jumble of football hooligans, various conspiracy nuts and veterans. Several people have been charged with threatening the PM after publicly burning an effigy with the words "She should and must be executed" on it.

It's been banned in any context here since 2018 because of THE MUSLIMS and specifically at protests since 2000. Last year's COVID laws doubled the penalty for covering your face during a criminal act.

Impeachment proceedings against the former Danish Minister of Integration have begun, charged with ordering her officials to break the law and subsequently lying to parliament. Probably gonna end up as a nothingburger with at best a slap on the wrist.

The Social Democrats have remarked that she "did the right thing, politically", but ended up voting for impeachment anyway. The case is about breaking up asylum seeker couples where one partner was a minor, what she insistently calls "child brides", but instead of reviewing each case individually as prescribed by human rights conventions, she ordered her officials to break up everyone without review. In one instance, this led to a suicide attempt when a pregnant 17-year-old was separated from her 19-year-old husband. Indeed, in all but a few cases the age differences were hardly of concern, and some had actually specifically fled forced marriages, but all that is irrelevant—they could have been legally separated from one another if there had been individual review. Confronted with the fact that she'd given this illegal instruction, she decided to lie to parliament repeatedly and to the Ombudsman.

Now she has hilariously been thrown under the bus by her own party, who stood firmly by her from the beginning, but have now for the most part voted for her impeachment. I cannot stress how awful this woman is. The first deportations she was responsible for were a pair of teenaged orphan Hazara brothers sent back to Afghanistan, and the younger one was immediately and brutally murdered by the Taliban. Now she's defending herself by saying her crime was "for the good of the children".

Was this minister a prison warden before becoming a minister by any chance?

No, she was editor of a small, local newspaper for short while, then climbed the party ladder to Minister of Employment and was almost immediately outed for lying about her education. She got her second ministerial gig by race baiting relentlessly and continued those efforts as minister, for example installing an immigration clamp-down counter on the official ministry website and celebrating with cake when it reached 50 (a move that earned her the moniker "Trumpine" in Bild). She was also the single most popular minister in recent history by a wide margin and will no doubt continue her shtick in some other party regardless of impeachment.

Even better was when she marched to Blågårds Plads surrounded by cops and scolded an immigrant kid for taking a year off from school to work. She herself was 40 before finishing some bullshit business degree to pad her otherwise lacklustre résumé.

She also tried to have some teenage girls arrested for calling her a fascist during the same photo op.

Denmark has entered into negotiations with Rwanda's Kagame for plans to establish asylum processing camps in his country. Rwandan police has a history of gunning down unarmed refugees.

SplitSoul
Dec 31, 2000

To show exactly how duplicitous the Social Democrats are, here's a direct quote from now-PM Mette Frederiksen in 2015 when refugees were arriving in droves from Syria: "The time when you could get away with tokenism and proposals for camps in Kenya, immediately slamming the brakes and quick fixes, is over." Then they immediately voted for robbing refugees of their cash and valuables, and now here we are. Although they did scrap the previous government's plans for a billion-kroner camp on a small island, currently under biological quarantine as a defunct animal disease research facility, where the only mainland connection is a ferry literally named Virus.

Funny thing is the minister responsible for the Rwanda project is himself the child of an Ehtiopian refugee. He has also jumped party three times, starting out as a member of the Communist Party (M/L), then the Unity List (which began as a collection of various revolutionary socialist parties), then the Socialist People's Party (whose founder was a CIA informant lol), and then finally the Social Democrats, after he failed to establish himself in either of the others.
