That doesn't mean he has to stand in front of a camera and just read off an entire article verbatim in a monotone voice. Even the HW news weekly vids I just click straight to the article and it's literally the script he's reading.

The streams are all great too because it's just him and the GN crew not being shackled by an A4 printout.

He does read articles, but thats just editting and making sure you cleanly communicate all the points you have. Another point positive for scripts is how tech nerds are VERY vocal when the wrong information is given enough so that some will just unsubscribe because of that.

That out of the way, Steve does communicate asides during these presentation episodes and that is more than I can for other channels who go off wild tangents sometime.

Best recent example was JayZ talking about the 3080 buyouts by Bounce Alerts. It was confusing if he either supported them (mentioning he looooves capitalism so much) or saw it as a bad thing. His cohost definitely did not support scalpers but then he started agreeing with JayZ, or thats how it seemed.

He said the relationship between GN and the mystery company is they had real bad interactions but also real good interactions.

I'm going with Cooler Master especially how GN influenced their redesign of the H500p being a benny for all sides.

and it's was even better when they made the type of bike he had vastly lots of experience in and fit enough to put it through its paces properly.

if they sent it to another reviewer as a sort of blenny but could only ride it up and down the street before being winded, they would have avoided the whole drama.

it would be like if Bethesda sent out their Fallout 76 dark rum Fisher Price bottling to Gray bottling* who does all of Buffalo Trace bourbon products plus more from other distilleries (which are numerous)

*I only bring it up because I toured there along with the on-floor tour where you are climbing flights of stairs all across the distillery to see the four story+ tall boilers is something else.

Once you put together a computer once, it's gravy and you probably won't ever need to make that list.

Computers have come from such a long way nowadays that it is really hard to mess things up. All the plugs can only go in one way

the only things you can really mess up is

knowing where the headers go but that is less of a problem than 10 years ago since oodles of jumpers/irq pins have been removed. just look for the silk printed PWR/USB#/RST pin is or look at the motherboard manual since they will be highlighted and bold

not using multiple rails for the GPU

The screw thing is resolved forever by buying one of these

I use those thumb screws in places like the card case screws and I love it when I don't have to go looking for a screwdriver to replace something.
