I've been interrogating as many people as Osvald as I can and there's a lot of neat little backstory around. LIke a little girl whose grandparents tell her her parents have been on a years long work trip, while the girl suspects they aren't actually her grandparents.

So I saw earlier itt that party banter can be viewed anytime, but if you play someone's chapter and you don't have all the party members, will you get potential missing banter from that chapter retroactively when the member joins later?

Yeah, I was noticing Throne and Ochette talking to Tenemos about his chapter and I was wondering about that; as well as if the other four party members would have Travel Banter as well or they'd need to be active party.

Okay, so regarding Throne and Tenemos' first shared chapter; That girl, I was under the impression that she lived in that room her whole life, and then once they show up in her room, she gives them an item and simply goes out into the world. Was there anything I missed there because I just found that whole thing odd.

I came across a boss who disables primary job skills so I finally looked into second jobs when she was mid 50s and my others were all low 40s. I went Warrior for the damage cap break, her divine skill hits for 25k+ with a damage buff on a broken enemy.

Throné and Agnea's EX skills together trivialize most random encounters, concoct is mad broken, and Osvald just does stupid damage and also can analyze. I'm assuming the POTH backup crew gets equally stupid with enough investment but I don't mind either way. Agnea with Inventor's divine skill, setup for starting the match with 3 bp, and Merchant's "start match with latent power" makes her an insane teammate.

Agnea's was probably the story I was least excited for but I think it's one of my favorites. Really uplifting stuff compared to, say, Throne's or Cassti's.

At some point you'll have the damage cap break skill and wish the bosses had more HP as you eviscerate bosses with 45k+ damage.

I still stand by Agnea with Inventor and two of Merchant's skills, 1 extra BP at the start and full Latent Power. With First Step she gets a turn to herself, gives 80% hp and sp plus 2 bp to everyone using her Latent Power to give Inventor's divine skill to everyone and then next turn everyone but her starts with 5 bp at the beginning of every fight. You'll never have to worry about using items again.

The flavor text for NPCs is definitely one of my favorite aspects. Cute little snippets like the trio of aspiring stars who each like one but dislike the other, or the beastling who sneaks into the library at night because she has a hunger for knowledge.

Final boss down; getting that win was drat cathartic after a few failed setups and some grinding. Epilogue: The segment of everyone leaving in the order you recruited them...drat. I really want to see the different scenes; Tenemos was the last to leave with Throne as my MC, and he said "there's something I wish to say to you, but...I will tell you the next time we meet." Are there enemies that you can steal nuts from? I've exhausted all the NPCs at this point and my Hikari's around 300 attack lower than most guides for this superboss. Shouldn't have gone all in on Throne and Ochette's attack...

I don't know if I'll be thinking about the ost in a couple weeks, but the music really adds to the world. Places like Beastling Village and the areas around Flamechurch stand out more to me thanks to the music, I feel.

Plus everything with Claude and his brood of (sometimes incest) assassins. At least, him being able to summon Marietta has the implication that she's his child.

You can also grind for a 2% drop for four of them if you want the extras, from Hikari/Osvald path actions. Almost considering it because of this superboss.
