 STEAM SUMMER GIFT TRAIN 2018  WISHLISTS ARE NO LONGER PUBLIC BY DEFAULT, CHANGE YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS Welp, I'm in a little better position this Summer than I was at Christmas, sorry about that! Here's my last-minute post! What is the Gift Train, and how do I participate? It's a big old gift chain, everyone who signs up gets a gift, and also gives a gift. It's a slightly more convoluted way of buying games for yourselves, and introducing your favourite game to others! Just join the list by posting your Steam ID in thread, and then gift to the person above you on the list! Everyone gives a gift, everyone gets a gift! It's that simple! Newcomers are always welcome to join up  If you hang around, you may even get to spin THE WHEEL, OF TRASH!Here's how it works. If the list when you join looks like this: Nettle Soup [ UK ] Sklurb [ Soviet Russia ] That means I started off, and would get a gift from Xander, who would get a gift from Sklurb, and so on. Xander is crossed off, because he's been a good boy and has both gotten and received a gift. You, hopping onto the end, would gift to Sklurb. There is normally an updated list on the last page of the thread, depending on if I'm asleep or not. To join the train, post your steam ID URL in thread (In a clear, clickable link) and also post your country, this is because You can no longer gift to a region with a price differential of more than 10%, and you can no longer save games to your inventory. If you're not sure about something, just ask!. This has gotten more complicated over time, so if you need help, just message me at Nettle_Soup on Steam, or friend Nettles#2807 on Discord. I do have forum PMs but I don't tend to see them in time.  You must spend at least a $5 / £4 / €4.50 minimum - If you run off without gifting, or gift below that amount, you will be permanently blacklisted. - Post your country along with your Steam ID. - Keep your wishlists up to date! - Please either update your spot-post, or put up a new post once you've given/revived your gifts. - Communicate with the other person you're gifting to/from, make sure they want what you're giving them! If you have to go to other places to get gifts, as Steam won't let you send anything, make sure they know this before you commit. Don't buy from shady crack sites, and the Steam value is what counts for price. I don't care if it was $200 on humble, if it's $3 on Steam, it's worth $3 towards your $5 total. It's a little clunky to use via webpage because you need to copy and paste the store page URL. Sill, it'll spit out the current price in US Dollars, Australian Dollars, British Pound, 2 (What's the diff?) Euro, and the Russian Ruble. A quick goog for this to that and a calculator will tell you if the price diff is acceptable. Extra important this year is to look at the list and wait a bit before you do anything, I'm probably going to have to shuffle things about a bit as we go, due to country issues. But here we go...
