It makes me sad that this might be the final steam gift train on SA, but I'm showing up to take my turn! EDIT: Okay, I've tried to check out four times now, and it keeps saying I can't buy for EU. I've tried buying games that are discounted, and games that are full price, but it won't work. How do I buy a gift for someone in a different region? NOT A RIDE It's very annoying indeed. In fact only way I found out to figure it out is to check isthereanydeal in the giftee currency and compare it to your local price. If the difference is more than 10% (considering the EU/$ price) then steam will refuse. Most games have same price EU/USD so it's a no go to gift to Europe. I've made the map for my own wishlist and I've like 30 games which are ok out of 300 (and most of them are above the average gift price so yeah no point running again :/ ) I'm not sure how this can be fixed unless other stores do sales at the same time or steam one day allows to pay a small price difference fee instead of simply blocking people out
