Wow. That sure was a game. DEUTSCHLAND ÜBER ALLES, HAHAHA!

Anyway, welcome to our Hublot Forum of Friendship matchday thread. Today we get to find out whether England's victory over Tunisia was a fluke or not.

This are the three matches for this day:

England vs Panama, 14:00 CET, 1 p.m. BST, 8 a.m. EST, Nizhny Novgorod
Japan vs Senegal, 17:00 CET, 4 p.m. BST, 11 a.m. EST, Yekaterinburg
Poland vs Colombia, 20:00 CET, 7 p.m. BST, 2 p.m. EST, Kazan

First up are England vs Panama. Belgium look pretty strong, so no fault on Panama for losing 3-0 to them. England on the other hand couldn't put away weak Tunisians in regular play time. Will the English turn out to be frauds after all, like in nearly every major tournament? Or will toothless Panamanians allow the Three Lions to scrape by to a close victory? Anything but a clear English victory would be an embarrassment, so let's find out how much they can gently caress up!

In today's second game, Japan face Senegal. Japan worked hard to get a close victory over Colombia, but didn't exactly show great attacking flair. Senegal played a better game against a shambolic Poland, only allowing them to score once the game was nearly over. This should be a pretty equal pairing, with Senegal slight favorites imho.

Last but not least, we have Poland vs Colombia. The Poles will want to improve their anemic attack and set up Robert Lewandowski better than they did last game. Their keeper managed to barely avoid being sent off in their opening match again, at the price of conceding the second goal. Still, they will be glad to play a weak Colombia, who didn't exactly convince in their match against Japan either. This should be a pretty close affair, with the Colombians having slightly better chances to win, I think..

Yesterday was a pretty intense day of football. Belgium trashing Tunisia while revealing some weakness in their defense was a joy to watch. Especially big Romelu Lukaku, who scored as many goals this World Cup as Ronaldo. Mexico vs South Korea was lot tamer, but Germany beating Sweden in a thrilling match was an absolute nail biter. I'm definitely looking forward to the first two matches today, watching England demolishing Panama or failing horribly would both be entertaining. Similarly, I think the Japan vs Senegal game could be pretty good. So join us again in our Hublot Forum of Friendship for another day of hopefully great football!
