Hello MLSers: I was at the Rapids-Sounders game last night, and Colorado fans booed Victor Rodriguez every time he touched the ball - the people I was with weren't sure why, and my googling doesn't lead to any history there, anyone know why that was happening? Also that Frei save was pretty unreal

Huh, I don't remember them booing VRod (and the stream I had to resort to didn't have any commentator audio, so I got plenty of crowd noise). I remember them booing Dempsey, which I imagine is part of that "You're responsible for USMNT not making the World Cup this year" bandwagon (nevermind that he scored the 2nd most goals in the Hex) and the refs for calling out fouls and giving out yellow cards, ignoring the fact that the refs totally missed a foul which led to their only goal. And yes, that save was awesome.

Sounders have at least improved from "incredibly depressing" to "vaguely competent but not particularly dangerous". Or maybe that's just my expectations adjusting? Considering this is the last game before the transfer window opens, a point would be really nice but rather unexpected.

SKC tied with Toronto today at home, with two more of their starters getting injured. And Vermes desperately needs to rest Russell and Ilie soon. Probably Zusi as well. So things aren't looking great for them. On the other hand, it is cool to see Kuzain and Lindsey getting game time. And apparently Gutierrez is set to come back in the coming weeks. thanks for reading
