Tell the birbs that the new birb has to tell them if he's a cock because that's the law and they should also plead the 5th Dimension.

fine birds, but finer bird jail. that reminds me that in the old city I used to live in as a kid some 25 years ago, this one house right in the middle had a coop connected to their house, directly abutting the sidewalk of the street. and this wasn't some pseudo-rural part, either, just your typical tree-lined residential neighborhood. so quite often, if one felt like it, you could walk by and admire some poultry just chilling out in the middle of a neighborhood, like it was no big thing. ---------------- |

op them some nice birds and birdhouse my bok story from a few months ago: i was helping a friend install a new picture window on the back of his house and his chickens were wandering his backyard/planting beds, as they do everyday, when we hear this huge commotion, chickens bocking like crazy, feathers flying, wings flapping. we turn around and see a chicken about 6 feet in the air trying to escape what looked at first like a large orange cat. we realize that it's a fox and my friend grabs a hammer and starts after it into the woods. chickens ended up safe and were escorted back into their chicken coop/compound and the whole time the fox watched us from about 50ft in the woods while standing on an old stone wall. all this happened at about 2pm in broad daylight. must have been a really hungry fox. disclaimer: no chickens were hurt in the making of this story, but all were very frightened also: City of Glompton posted:Free my people!
