I’ve been thinking about this given how much Silicon Valley, the MIC, the banks, big pharma, and Wall Street have invested in the Democrat Party, and superdelegates all but ensure their investments are protected. I recently read how Amazon and Warren Buffet are getting into healthcare (because these people totally care about you!), and more importantly, how single-payer would destroy their plans for this. Another example is how the Democrats are doubling down on neocon foreign policy bullshit with a flavor of good old fashioned American jingoism as a response to Trump mostly due to influence from the MIC.

Just look at the DNC’s response to the courageous Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s victory over their puppet Crowley. A loving bartender beat their chosen candidate. They might not say it publicly, but the DNC probably prefers losing elections to republicans than putting people before profits. I’m highly confident the shenanigans they’re going to pull on Bernie or any socialist in 2020 is going to make the poo poo DWS and the DNC did to Bernie in 2016 look mild by comparison.

The question is, what do we do when they inevitably cheat against the socialist candidates and insist that $7k Obamacare deductibles are good enough?

I still haven’t seen the Democrats address anything close to this since Trump has been in office: https://www.economist.com/books-and...lnessthecrackup

It’s loving sad.

Sorry to undo the effort of paying a domestic abuser $10 to own this poster, but I am going to lose my dang mind if I keep seeing multiple posters who appear to be Baloogan.

Have superdelegates actually determined the outcome of any Dem presidential primaries?

Exploration is ill-advised.
This is a question we need to pose do the Democrat leadership; CAN superdelgates be abolished without physically storming the convention and removing their heads from their bodies?

You just gotta convince the Republicans to demand that the Democrats give up their superdelegates, the Dems will then roll over with minimal hashtag resistance

Just looked it up and no, they have not, but we still should get rid of them. The whole point was that they were supposed to veto any unelectable candidates chosen by the idiot mob, and yet they still gave the nomination to Hillary

It gets better:

I guarantee you Trump is going to attack superdelegates during the 2020 Dem primaries solely as a divide and conquer tactic (it’s going to work, too), and the Dem response to those attacks will be to pathetically call it an attack on muh Democracy. That is how loving tone-deaf the Dems are, and why they keep losing elections.

Not officially but it certainly didn't help in 2016 when the scoreboard going into the primaries was Hillary up by zillion delegates Bernie 0

superdelegates are the perfect manifestation of the Democratic Party's elitism

an explicitly antidemocratic force that exists because the party establishment believes that they deserve special powers and titles
