Pretty much. Media attention in recent presidential re-election campaigns is already massively weighted towards the incumbents, though I guess it doesn't help that most of the challengers have been insufferable dullards. This is going to be far worse with Trump as president, and he knows it, and will take full advantage.

He must secretly love CNN, since they got him elected the first time and will do so again
