Also they tend to spend shitloads of cash on ivory tower consultants while often pawning their most difficult students off on 1 to 1 behavior paraprofessionals who make minimum wage and are almost 100% black women. Obviously the private prison model for charter schools is dog poo poo too. Honestly though, having personally worked in a progressive charter school, I can't say which is worse.

Janeway is a murderer. I get that being lost in the delta quadrant required a certain amount of moral flexibility and I am sure that the pressure was intense but this does not excuse her actions on several occasions. The most obvious example, as we all know, is the forced separation of the entity Tuvix back into his constituent parts, Tuvok and Neelix. Tuvix was a blessing in that he was union of the most beloved aspects of his components. He had the nimble mind of Tuvok and was as personably ebullient as Neelix. No one chose to make Tuvix, but his life could have been carried forth with dignity. AOC needs to address this IMO

I read Burr by Gore Vidal a couple years ago and it is a really great read. Hamilton is made out to be a bastard-born, obnoxiously ambitious opportunist who only rose to prominence by putting his tongue right up george washington's rear end. It's a deeply satisfying book and a great opportunity for you uneducated fucks to read all 7 books in Gore Vidal's wonderful Narratives on Empire series which makes history come alive (and makes rich people look like dumbfucks). The third book, 1876 is my favorite and tells the story of the election which Rutherford B Hayes stole from Samuel Tilden which I knew nothing about until I read the book. Fascinating!
