Chain jumped on my first bike (V-Star 250) and punched a hole in the crank case. JB-Welded the hole. After much sanding and patching, there were no more leaks. I traded it into a dealer for $2,000 towards my next bike a couple months later. Used black duct tape to attach indicator wires together. Went 35,000 without changing wheel bearings.
