But without think tanks who will cherry pick data and write bullshit studies that affirm their own ideologies and partisan biases before distributing them to the talking heads as white papers and talking points? Who will suck up all the corporate philanthropy dollars to gently caress over consumers and workers without our precious thought tankers? How will Megan McArdle have job? Who will produce the "studies" and "reports" for op-ed writers, thought leaders and bloggers to swipe all their content from? Who will write the pithy phrases and buzz words for morons and bots to puke out over and over again on social media posts?
