Lamar Jackson looked good in the hof game. Blitzed constantly and the offense didn't adapt well, but those runs he busted looked really nice. Just what people were hoping for

He hasn't had many sexy plays at all in preseason I think he'll be pretty good but he definitely needs to sit for a season (probably 2) to work on his pocket passing. He's an actual project QB in the sense that there's actually a pretty decent chance he can be pretty good (compared to some random 5th round schmuck people use the term on). He takes off running when it's not necessary and takes hits like he's still in college when he should be sliding/getting out of bounds.

But yeah, Lamar's preseason hasn't been very impressive so far. Which sucks because I'm pretty sure every one of us wanted to see him ball out. It's way too early to say he won't be good but it's more than obvious that he isn't ready. He's had a couple good plays but I think his preseason completion percent is like 40 so not good at all

I'm starting to think Hue Jackson trying to get fired. How else do you explain putting your injured first team QB back into a meaningless game? Maybe he has come to terms with the fact he just isn't head coach material, and he is trying his best to get ownership to catch on.
