From what little I've seen of the trailer, the movie seems like trash, but not unlike a crapton of other American movies featuring nominally uperclass people doing stupid poo poo and being idiots. The only difference is that they're all some sort of East Asian instead of American White.

apparently joy luck club has been deemed problematic because of its portrayal of asian men, i thought the movie was about spousal abuse and overcoming it but i guess don't explore that theme with an all poc cast  ya having a movie with all asian leads probably should happen more than every 15 years but next time maybe have it not be bougie garbage plus it's not like there aren't a shitload of movies with asian leads going back to the silverscreen days they tend to be made in countries with more than 5% asian population though i mean i'm all for asian actors getting work, they probably should get at least one avenger to be asian american and definitely stop giving asian roles to white actors

He walked to the curb and stood there yelling at the car, from behind, for like five minutes. In the front seats were two women staring straight ahead, one older and stonefaced, the other younger and on the verge of tears.
