As someone who never bothered with the other Star Wars animated series will this be accessible for me? Or is it more of a sequel to those?

Luke was absolutely right to do what he did. It'd take a real psychopath (or some sort of weirdo warrior cultist with no attachments or feelings) to know that your friends are in mortal danger and do nothing. "Actually he would've been better off doing nothing at all  " doesn't change that.

I think one live action show and one animated show per year, with movies every three or so years would probably strike a decent balance as long as they have a good re-think of the creative direction of the films.

Either bring the KO/TOR games into canon or adapt them Disney.

I know it's not canon anymore but I just can't get over the fact that even going back millennia, most of society is identical to modern day 'Wars. You still have the Jedi controlled Republic and the Sith controlled Empire. There's still a master and an apprentice. The Jedi are making the same mistakes. The droids are basically the same. The Hutts have a crime empire. Tatooine has the exact same issues with poverty, slavery and sand people. It's bonkers.

I'm struggling to remember the last film score (not just Star Wars) that actually had that John Williams magic. Probably Revenge of the Sith? Nothing he's done since then has hit the same way.

My favourite storm trooper chumping is Jedi Fallen Order. By hammering the block button when they're firing at you, you one shot most of them without even looking in their direction. Casually mow the fuckers down, then get killed by a spider.
