Kentucky won a game with only with only 18 passing yards on 3 completions, one of which was a touchdown. The previous game they went to overtime despite not running a play beyond the 50 in regulation. The offense is basically Benny Snell and not much more, but the defense is elite and deserves all the credit for the past two games. They have not allowed more than 20 points in any game, only 90 points total all season, and only 60 total in 5 SEC games. Big test this week against Missouri. Win that and the game against Georgia is basically for the East. If Geogria beats Florida, Kentucky can still drop one as long as they beat Georgia and still go to Atlanta. Our offense has to figure it out quick though, we're not winning either of these games playing like we did last night.

Mark Stoops said he will play multiple quarterbacks against Missouri this weekend. Sounds like not only will Gunnar Hoak be getting snaps along with Terry Wilson, but Danny Clark might too. It's a hell of a thing to be 6-1 and have a quarterback controversy.

Grittybeard posted:If it helps any Missouri's been pretty good at letting quarterbacks I've never heard of before go off on them this year. Not a long term solution I know but you might have fun for that game. Hasn't Missouri had issues stopping the run too? I feel like a heavy dose of Benny Snell might be the key. Churn the clock and keep the ball away from Missouri's offense.

Louisville also has the issue of paying $14 million to buy out Petrino, plus probably whatever it takes to buy out Brohm's contract at Purdue. All indications are they don't have that much available. A promise to bring Brohm in might be the only coach that would excite boosters enough to pull it all together.
