Are they actually worse panels than other TVs from the same brand or are they just short of features compared to other models? I always understood it was the later but high end electronic stores would say that the panels are seconds and stuff like that to scare people away from them, but when asked for some sort of proof they are substandard there never is any. Or is there?

Crummier refresh rates, fewer inputs, missing features, etc.

Got a fair number of kids trick or treating last night. It was crappy weather, too, so I was kinda surprised by the numbers. I also started playing Overwatch the other day and was pleased to find out my skills aren't actually too bad so long as I stick to tank or healer. I don't know what the math is for figuring out highlights/play of the game but I managed to get PotG on my first round, which was cool. And since we're posting cat pics: There was a toll before using the toilet.

Well, one breaks, so you buy another one for parts, and then think about making *that* one roadworthy, so you buy another parts car, or maybe a runner, then other people notice you have a few RX-7s and say “I know where one of those is and the guy wants to get rid of it” or “hey you want the one in my backyard cheap?”, and before you know it, you have a herd, or gaggle, or whatever.

Mine said in really small print about how long you can crank for and how long you should leave it between unsucessful cranks before retrying (else you melt bits of it). Then quickly disconnecting it once the car starts

From my understanding manufacturers will put the same actual panel in the TVs destined for discount retailers, but LCD panels are graded when they come off the assembly line. A TV being sold at Wal-Mart or Target is likely going to have a B-grade LCD panel (basically means it will have defects that may or may not impact picture quality), while one sold from a more premium retailer will receive a higher graded panel. And I'm sure they cut corners elsewhere - like cheaper electrical components on the PCBs or shittier speakers.

Mine actually aren't rusty, except for the few small bits I've pointed out in my thread. They are all immobile currently, however. I think I could get the FC functional without a whole lot of work, but I don't have a title for that one. So, yeah. FWIW, I have never owned a BMW or a Subaru. I've only driven BMW once (nasty E30 convertible that I helped repo. I've never seen so many warning lights on at once.)

Welp, just checked healthcare.gov, fully expecting my options to be gutted, and... The exact same plan I have now is still on there. Enrolled, but they want proof of 2018 income by January 31st. Uh, isn't that when 1099s are supposed to be in the mail by? I might get hosed there, especially since I'll have to file my taxes super early as proof (my deductions are what bring my income low enough to get a subsidy). Or maybe have Quickbooks spit out a P&L, but it won't match my 1040 (some of my income is via Paypal, which sometimes got spent via PayPal or via PayPal's business debit card, so I have to wait for actual tax forms to be totally accurate - Quickbooks will be probably a grand or so off). tetrapyloctomy posted:Your numbers are slightly off (LMP for ovulation window of mid-February would be late January, with subsequent due date around the sixth to ninth), but I applaud your attempt to gross out fellow posters.
