That time Alex Smith made Aaron Rodgers wait in the green room for hours was pretty good.

Smith can eat poo poo for that run but the dude seems like a genuinely good person so I am conflicted.

I have no ill will towards the man as its just a game even if it sucked watching him beat the Saints and after an injury like that he has 71 million reasons to hang up the cleats.

I will always wonder the man he could have been if early on he didn't have a new coordinator every year or if he had been on a team that had some success when he was developing.

Alex Smith is cool as hell and I'm super duper pissed his career is going to end this way. Favorite Alex Smith moment was That Goddamned Run and then the pass to Vernon Davis. Also all the years he sucked rear end for the Niners and we got poo poo like Troy Smith at QB.

MatildaTheHun posted:Remember those 9ers teams? What a waste of talent for an entire decade My favorite 49ers fact is that between Mooch (2002) and Harbaugh (2011), they won 46 games. Harbaugh's Niners won 44 in four years. And then he got fired for hurting Jed York's feelings amd the Niners won 13 games in the next three years (they won 13 Harbaugh's first year). Just a pile of gold surrounded by absolute poo poo.
