Jets have their remaining games against the Bills (away), Texans (home), Packers (home), and Patriots (away). I think the likely outcome of that stretch is 1-3, meaning they'll finish at 4-12, and likely have the 3rd or 4th pick.

Jets should only be drafting edge rushers, offensive lineman, and receivers during this draft. I wouldn't be shocked if they decided to trade down to recoup a 2nd rounder (especially if the QB needy teams end up clustered behind them).

If they stick at 3-4, I would hope that Jonah Williams (OT) or Clelin Farrell (OLB/DE) would be the pick (assuming they don't stumble into Nick Bosa).

If they trade down, would consider someone like D.K. Metcalf.
Also, draft Josh Allen as a top 3 edge rusher for maximum AFC East hilarity.

So I just found out the 7th grader that Lane Kiffin signed for USC as a quarterback is now a TD machine for WVU. He seems to have good size/speed as well.

What are the pro prospects for David Sills as a WR?

I mean I don’t think you can say height won’t play a factor. He’s generously 5’10”. He has the ability to make it work but it has to be a major concern with teams.

James Jett was a productive WR in the NFL just being Olympic fast. He was not 6’6” though.

Will you assholes not try and trade QBs that have potential to New England? That would be great.

Waiting 25 years for them to have an empty cupboard at QB will be for nothing if you just hand them another.

Yeah but it'll be like Clayton Thorson in the 4th round. Don't give the Pats a top 10 talent just because.

The 200 pounds would be a big deal if he were participating in drills at that weight. As such it could just be he bulked up for show.

Murray is the best of the bunch by a mile. Better than former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who McCloughan describes as "Byron Leftwich to a 'T'." Better than Missouri's Drew Lock, West Virginia's Will Grier and Duke's Daniel Jones, too. However, stacked up against last year's QB class, Murray would rank fifth, McCloughan says, behind Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen and Josh Rosen, but before Lamar Jackson.
Someone (Giants) please move up to #3 for the right to draft the next Byron Leftwich.

Diva Cupcake

Bucky Brooks is saying that the Giants are much more likely to draft Daniel Jones as their future QB than Haskins/Murray because of the Eli/Cutliffe connection.

No idea if that's accurate but it would be a very Giants-y maneuver.

Oliver's grades were pre-combine. Gholston wowed at the combine and tricked the Jets into drafting him. But the real answer is they didn't give number grades back then that they do now.

Stephen Hill was a Combine guy with no actual production in college. Gholston at least produced. He set the OSU record for sacks and was all conference.

As it turns out he only had one bull rush maneuver and was a laughably bad fit for Rex Ryan’s 3-4. Whoops.

e: He still has the single season record over Joey Bosa.
