The real infuriating thing about the Piggy James thing was that they had done the same thing to Molly Holly years before.

So they're double hypocrites

Nah, that DVD could be considered a disgusting tactic. Guy refuses to come back and work with us? gently caress him, we'll spend time and money manufacturing a documentary that rips on him.

It was one of the reasons Bret came back to due his DVD, despite the bad blood, because he knew Vince would do the same to him.

And I love how they try to explain HHH winning by saying that Booker T had told people he was going to win, so they had to switch the win to HHH.

Also, Booker tells the story that when it came to the booking of the WM match, he wasn't allowed to sit in on the discussion, but HHH was. HHH of course, defended his sitting in by saying "But I didn't say anything while they were booking it."

That little tidbit where Vince's argument is "He's not an employee; he just works for us." is why they love the independent contractor status so much. Can deny everything if they aren't "technically" with the company.

The worst thing about Katie Vick was Triple H's "And if you don't like this storyline you can kiss my rear end!!" promo, which was just another showcase of Vince McMahon's childishness. While I (somewhat regrettably) ended up liking Goldust during his 2002-2004 run, you simply can't deny that it was an intentionally offensive gimmick. That it was during a period where WWE was being marketed first and foremost to kids, as one poster above discussed, just makes it even worse.

Also there was the time where Russo and Co got their Attitude Era claws into him and he started coming out wearing fetish gear. Because gay? idk.

Dustin actually wanted to get breast implants at one point for the gimmick.

I think that is Hogan telling stories but Billy Robinson completely hosed up Iron Sheik as a trainee for thinking he could out shoot him.

Hogan told the story on the first day of his training, Matsuda broke his leg deliberately, and only agreed to train him once he came back.

The Iron Sheik story was that during his training, he said as an former Olympic wrestler, that Robinson wouldn't be able to pin him. So Robinson agreed to the "match", and when Sheik got into the referee's position, Robinson immediately drove his knee into Sheik's thigh, loving him up.

Jericho told the story of how on his first day, without any training, Keith Hart made him take a backdrop. Jericho landed on his feet instead of bumping, so Hart locked him in a stretch hold as "punishment" for showing off.

Al Snow said training his training, he saw his trainer pop someone's eye out of its socket and stomp on it.

I've mentioned it before, but when Test had to have neck surgery (I think it was the same kind Austin, Angle, Edge, and Lita had), while they paid for it ... they let him go afterwards, and only hired him back once he was cleared to wrestle. Test told a story about his release when he asked what was he supposed to do for a paycheck while recuperating, and the response was "You should've saved your money."
