Remembering all the bad Mickie James plotlines is saddening, but I have to give it to the funeral airing.

I'm looking forward to this saddening tournament.

Reid never even worked there. At least all those other people consented to being WWE pawns in some form when they were exploited.

Reid gets my vote.

Less long term awful, but so tasteless they scrubbed it from the record immediately.

Also awful because the audience didn't understand it, delivery was bad, wasn't built up etc. It was the first time in forever women main evented RAW and it was for garbage controversy.

What about that time when Vince was going to be forced to face the Undertaker in a Buried Alive match and he went on this loving insane promo where he ordered Paul Heyman to 1) have the Undertaker's children kidnapped, 2) have terrorists blow up the Undertaker's house and 3) have a biker gang rape the Undertaker's wife while Undertaker is forced to watch.

I do not remember Bischoff raping Linda, nor this particular insane promo. What the gently caress even is Vince?

.....I'm disgusted yet curious enough to want links.

Vickie stuff was weird as sometimes she was an effective on screen heel, way too often you'd just feel sorry for how the company was treating her.

He punched Strowman really hard in the face as a result of Strowman legit kneeing him in the face. That's justice.

It's a receipt, but still lovely to have so obviously stiffed a relatively green wrestler for a mistake, it's unprofessional.

I voted for the mauling. They told Brock (more than once) to go out there and just maul another human being, loving madness. If they'd actually learned their lesson it wouldn't have gotten my vote, but he hosed up Roman at Wrestlemania too, amongst other incidents. It's just so loving stupid, and really makes you understand the Bryan Alvarez-Filthy Tom argument they had- Tom thought people should learn to hit as hard as they possibly can so they can hit less than that, Bryan quite strongly said "I don't want to be touched at all during a match".

just truly worthless human garbage in this company

Being somewhat fair to them, they hadn't had a death before, and seen people recover from the worst is what they do. They do need an actual policy on what to do in this situation, remember when it legit looked Enzo might have died (or at least become paralysed). The show continued!

Kiss My rear end Club is probably among the least offensive things in this tournament for me. A heel is mean, then got beat up. Kind of tacky, but hardly on the level of actually manipulating an election.

....how would you feel if your employer forced you to literally kiss his asscheeks, in front of the world? Like it's just a gross misuse of power and disgusting thing to ask of your employees.

The fact that McMahon has done worse things doesn't stop this been a ludicrously unprofessional thing that you shouldn't ever do.

Yeah, doing moral things is often not the most monetarily rewarding thing or makes the most business sense.

WWE is so loving monumentally lucky that wrestling isn't mainstream enough for some really big names to start throwing light on this poo poo. All it's gonna take is someone to start showing that clip, talk about Vince's incest obsession and any other amount of poo poo and WWE is gonna have to go into mega damage control.

It's been discussed in this thread, WWE works very hard to maintain this image to deflect criticism. "It's all a weird carny industry" is the front they project to avoid been treated like an actual corporation.

Another reminder for how bad WWE's idea of irony is, when ECW started they intentionally started pushing people like Kevin Thorne and stupid gimmicks like The Zombie and Nacho Libre because "That's what people expected us to do non-ironically so we did it "ironically"

I think Sci-Fi actually wanted there to be some fantasy/sci fi content, how poorly they did it is another thing.

I think Crime Tyme were worse. They did so many press releases beforehand of how they were trying to satirise media portrayals.....and then they were 2 black street thugs. The closest thing they did to actually been that was the bizarre skit where they pretended they beat up Michael Richards (actor who played Cosmo Kramer) as revenge for his scandal at the time.

Boogeyman was the tits though, I feel like if that dude was younger he could have gone places. He gave me that old Undertaker vibe of "guy selling the hell out of a bad gimmick"

Both Ariel and Boogeyman had the same thing truly holding them back: being really bad at wrestling.

And it's such a shame it feels like it's doing the open racism a disservice, but covering up pedophilia for years is indeed a shoe in to win.

1) Are superstars complaining about healthcare on and off the record?
2) How often does Vince "really" take care of his people? The NY64 leads me to believe that he takes care of a select few and only when it's profitable in some way to him.

Lance Storm said he was given a card that paid all his medical expenses. I think it's a thing where Vince takes care of you......But he could suddenly stop at any minute, especially if you do him wrong.

It's like how alumni get paid rehab.....unless they don't. It's also a thing where it makes him seem magnanimous, compared to if he just gave insurance, where he would just look like a normal employer.

He had a few things to his name, such as writing/directing an episode or two of TV before co-writing Chronicle. The success of that movie let him branch into other things, the most successful of which was Bright. He's also done some shorts, such as Wrestling Isn't Wrestling where he told the story of HHH's career and cast all the wrestlers to be women. During the filming of that, he did some things which spawned a few #metoo tweets but someone will need to find the tweets to get more specific. I remember the woman who played Batista mentioned it, but I can't recall the others. Other than his work in TV & Film his biggest contribution to the arts is calling the Star Wars lady a mary sue; starting that whole thing off.

Overall the dude isn't bad at making TV length stuff but his longer work suffers and he'd be an absolute unknown if he didn't have a famous helicopter parent.

6 films and a TV series isn't nothing. But yeah he's noted for having a public face and lots of content on his YouTube channel......

Until disappearing after the sexual assault allegations.
