My 16 yr old (the drummer) had to take a break to focus on grades, so the singer said he'd play drums and sing, and my 14 yr old said he'd do the bass just like the original. That entire audience is from the previous band - they all stuck around - hell half the crowd IS the previous band. They just booked their first major venue in Atlanta, (Center Stage!) and I'm still astounded. When I was their age I was only amazing at air guitar. When I was twice their age, I had a band that could draw flies. drat kids.

magnificent7 posted:hell half the crowd IS the previous band. lol this is most shows i've ever played good on you for both encouraging your kids to dive into music but also still focus on grades. just remember to make them learn all the instruments you never did so you have your own personal roster of studio musicians.
