Oh cool, a tweet by fox says GBS has been "linked to the flu-shot". Where did they pull that from? Evidence? How do we know this case is specifically linked to the dude getting the flu shot or is this just some anecdotal coincidence? I'm sure thousands of people aren't going to take this the wrong way and poo poo their pants over muh vaccines! Anyway. How much debt is this guy in now?

Guillain-Barre is frightening. Every part of you pretty much becomes paralyzed, even your eyes and breathing, within hours. It's like MS on meth. However yeah the news here is doing a disservice since you're more likely to get it having the actual flu or a lung infection than a flu shot, and even then that is like a one in a few million that it will progress into GBS.

I hope he recovers fully and manages to have a nice Christmas  It sucks to be sick for the holidays, I almost died of a marijuana overdose about this time last year and the thought of not getting another Christmas with my family was horrible. Thankfully the antibiotics did their thing. It was kinda fun to trip balls on a heavy dose of IV painkillers for the couple days I was in intensive care, but not enough to go through that poo poo again.

I thought QCS was the first line of treatment against initial GBS poisoning symptoms, and any patients suffering from advanced complications are directed to the Something Sensitive ward. If only he knew about his healthcare options sooner. Smdh

After "Christmas with the Kranks" I wasn't sure if they wanted to kill us or get us to just leave. This year sucks, because I'm on crutches with a mangled knee. Shopping with crutches and a Service Dog are a while new kind of Hell.

This takes me back, it really does. Back to 2015, when the sun was a little bit brighter and the colors more colorful. Good times. I got a free flu shot, passed out, and the next morning I had an account here... And the rest is history.
