another thing I love about this cafe is the non-problematic old fashioned appeal: the WiFi sucks on mobile, but if you’re on your laptop you’re zooming

must be nice to have coffee still have an effect on you
it was a strategic approach that went like this:
-throughout the week, only ordered peppermint tea. stash brand but it’s still dope as h*ck
-today, treated myself to a Mexican mocha
-my partner used to work at this cafe and made an almond milk latte. things got busy, she decided to go help out for a bit
-“hey Macnult you can finish this if you want”
-so i did

going into the local bodega, making sure no one notices as i go through the beaded curtains into the back room with the giant "porn" sign above it. i knock three times on the old shelf of porno vhs tapes and wait for it to open so i can get my daily fix of java. i'm greeted by steven, the same barista who years ago gave me my first cup free of charge, his dead eyes have no sympathy for the spiral of addiction he started me on. i take my coffee and drop my change in his tip cup.
Steven sounds chill. is there good seating in the porn bodega?
