There's a lot that impresses me about the Project Diva games, I love them, but the #1 thing is how while there's no set place where notes should be, no "lane" like in Guitar Hero or DDR or most other games like it, the notes can appear anywhere on screen and are placed by the authors, and yet it is nearly always very easy to follow.
