Thought the first half was clunky but the last ten minutes are fantastic. Especially everything after the Tiger Driver.

I was thinking about where the match would fall as a hm v motyc but i think you nailed it.

Big Mike had a bit of ring rust it looked like because he wasnt as smooth as he normally is. The first crossface tease looked a bit rough and there was a counter from an okada elbow drop that was messy but i bought into the ending hard. Good match

Hm Okada v Ospreay new japan cup 20/3/2019

I liked both matches a lot. I think on the whole ishii v YH was the better match but what was good in Okada v Ospreay was amazing but they were holding back. I�m really into Ospreays story right now trying to establish himself at HW. Being able to beat the big lugs but coming up short against Okada who is both big and skilled. Ospreay crying at the end was a nice touch.

I struggled to get into this at first but boy did they hook me in at the end. A fantastic match once it got going.

Hm: jay white v hirooki goto - njpw wrestling hinokuni 29/04/19

I probably liked this match more than most but again it shows that switchblade is a very clever wrestler and goto a tremendous loser and consistent storytelling like that is what new japan is famous for.

Not on the level of the Kzy defence earlier in the year but still a really good Pac title match in which he is in fact a bastard. Also Dragon Kid is still so amazingly smooth looking and he must be in his 40s now. The springboard Dragonrana was beautiful, and the top rope reverse Frankensteiner. Kid turns me into a MOVES guy.

I agree with the hm.

It was really good but i dont think it quite got to moty candidate. The falcon arrow off the top rope was crazy

I normally give a MOTYC to any match I think is 4.5 stars or so. I genuinely think there were three matches tonight at that standard. Was an excellent show but the mainevent was the match I liked the most.
