I feel it's disingenuous to not list the War Doctor in the OP

Heavy Metal posted:How does that work? This sounds wibbily wobbly timey wimey to me, if I may. Been a while since I saw those eps/specials. Talking about Big Finish. John Hurt did twelve episodes (over four boxsets for them), while Tennant, so far, has only done six (with another three this May).

Saw someone on Twitter try to say that the problem with this series was that every ep revolved around the Doctor being a woman. He never answered when I told him to cite examples. It kind of reminded me of people who said The New Girl was bad because Zooey was playing a "Magical Pixie Dreamgirl". There was no quicker way of revealing that they never watched an ep.

The_Doctor posted:Fun fact: The production crew for the TV Movie bought that TARDIS key off 800-Trekker (a mid-90s geek stuff companies that sold through catalogues like Thinkgeek/BBTS do today), based off the 3/4th Doctor design, but slightly inaccurate, which is why it looks like that. I miss 800-Trekker. I bought sooo much Who stuff through them, including the first 15 BF releases.

What about the Doctor stealing Davros' chariot? That's akin to stealing a person's wheelchair and mocking them.

The_Doctor posted:Just saw Resolution in a Berlin cinema because they were showing it today for reasons(?). Looked good on the big screen, nice mix, still funny. Weirdly, the audience (filling maybe 1/3rd of the place) barely reacted to anything though, which may just be Germans generally. Can I make a "Maybe they were rooting for the Dalek" joke?

CommonShore posted:Ok when you guys get going about various who-related people and who-related projects of varrying degrees of obscurity I often tune out... but this one is weird enough to get my attention - can someone fill in a few of the details of who these people are and what they're doing? Reeltime Pictures made DTV "movies". Since they couldn't get the Who license, they'd instead license characters or monsters from the creators, then cast actors who'd been in Who to star. Sometimes as the characters they'd played (Liz Shaw, Victoria Waterfield, and The Brig), or sometimes as new people. And sometimes as "not" their characters (Colin and Nicola as "The Stranger and Miss Brown). They were made for about 10 pounds and not very good. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anomaly-Region-0-Multi-Region-DVD/dp/B079J85631/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1550505720&sr=1-1&keywords=anomaly
