Tää asia vaivaa mua, onko nää viimepäiväiset keskustelut tiedätte kyllä missä kovaa trollausta vai onko ne kirjaimellisesti hulluja? Ei kuitenkaan tunnu mitenkään mainstream asenteelta Suomea kohtaan. En löydä mistään, edes Fox Newsiltä, mitään vastaavaa keskustelua että Suomea ei pitäisi ottaa natoon. Tuntuu nopealla googlailulla ihan republikaanitkin kannattavan, vai olenko väärässä?

As added evidence that this will probably be sorted out, here's the current betting market odds for Nato expansion in 2022: https://electionbettingodds.com/NATOExpansion2022.html Yes, it has decreased by quite a bit in the past days, but it's still considered 50/50. And the 50 % chance of not expanding in 2022 doesn't mean it won't happen, as it still holds the scenario of "expands, but the process is not quick". I'm not worried. Furthermore: What on earth would Turkey benefit from blocking Sweden's and Finland's NATO membership? Nothing, and it would destroy their NATO relations, especially with Nato expansion being a big prestige question for US, and they will apply a lot of pressure on Turkey to get it done. On the other hand, using it as a chip to get something else can be beneficial for Erdogan.

It would be remembered for decades by other Nato members.

Edit: To amend my post, it looks like Erdogan didn't get what he wanted (jets or something similar from the US), but he got what he needed (posturing for election.) Minä en todellakaan ihaile. Mutta minun näkemykseni mukaan hyvä presidentti näkyy mutta ei kuulu. Ja Saulista ei ole juuri mitään kuulunut kuin tämän parin kriisin aikana. Näkemykseeni saattaa vaikuttaa rapakon tapana tapahtuva hidas, presidentin masinoima fasistivallankaappaus. Asetan toki riman tässä melko matalaksi mutta tässä sitä vittu ollaan tänä päivänä.

In addition, I tan extremely quickly, even inside. I'm still white though, that part of the family is from the north, but the history quickly tapers off so I have no idea where it's coming from. This all results in someone thinking I'm Arabic about once a year. By this I mean that people talk English to me, ask me where I'm from etc. They are surprised when I say Finland, and when I ask where they thought I was from, the answer is always Middle-East. No one has called me any slurs yet though. Growing a full, dark beard has increased this by a lot, go figure. Or perhaps northern Finns just have darker hair and all these etelän vetelät can't comprehend.

Jesus christ those losses Fortum. Germany is the graveyard of Finnish business empires. Sonera 4 bil, this one over 10 bil. Thats quite a lot of juustohampparis and nobelaners down the drain. Good thing that 50 % of that was private money. So we collectively only lost 5-7 bil I guess? (10 % or so of our state budget?) Its INSANE that they didn't hedge their gas imports while selling gas at fixed prices. I can see that a lot of emotions are up again with this as was with the Nokia phone division sales. That one was a terrible deal for Microsoft, even if the sum was paltry. They ended up losing much more in the long run. In this case it is not clear to me that Germany is "winning" here. They are ponying up billions and billions of cash, while we are essentially cutting our losses. We will see what ends up happening.
