You'd think someone who mashed at every step of his career other than his first 1/3 season in the majors would get a little more credit. But has he been named the starter yet? Bird is hitting even better so far.

$20 Yahoo Pro League Bullpen is a dumpster fire but you can always grab saves on the WW if you're quick. The only other decent team has a stacked offense but punted W and K. I think I'll be fine.

Pro leagues have 162 games per position limits, so if you keep subbing guys in every time your starter isn't playing, you'll hit the limit eventually.

With the way more and more managers are using their best relievers in the highest leverage situations instead of saving them for the 9th, chasing saves is becoming a huge pain in the rear end.

It's week 3, I still have no saves, and I'm starting to get desperate. I'm looking to trade Jose Abreu for one of the better closers plus a lesser bat. Does something like Abreu for Chapman and Brantley seem like a good idea? Or Hand and Schoop? I'll probably have to move either Abreu or Voit in the next month or two when Ohtani comes back, since him and Cruz will be filling my U slot and I'll only have room for one 1B.

I still have the Chris Davis of fantasy bullpens. Zero saves. Right now I have Doolittle, Givens and Kennedy. Should I drop Givens and Kennedy and use their roster spots to stream vulture saves? It's a Yahoo pro league, so unlimited add/drops, but a 1400 inning limit for the season.

Is Posey droppable at this point? I don't have the roster spot for a backup catcher right now and leaving him in the lineup everyday is getting painful. Willians Astudillo is looking awfully tempting on the wire.

I tried shopping Abreu around for all the decent catchers and everyone declined, except Realmuto's owner who left it open, probably so he can mash accept in case he gets injured. Yahoo would reverse that in a pro league, right?

After what feels like a million trade offers trying to get rid of Abreu I finally had one accepted. Getting back Machado, which means I no longer have to start Andrelton Simmons and it opens up a Util slot for Ohtani.
