The people who set odds have enough information to set a line, otherwise they wouldn't set one. And they're going to have all the information they want. Apparently they're putting sensors on all the players and the ball- the "gamecast" that you'll see on the app will apparently have each player on the field and the ball represented and moving in close to real time. All that data is going to get fed to the oddsmakers as well. It's probably going to break horribly the first weekend, because of course it is, but once they iron it out it's got a chance to be pretty nifty. also go birmingham or whatever
