I've seen folk doing the quick-busting technique with the new operator that I was worried about. I wonder if they'll slow how she can put the shield away because of it. Regardless as to that point, she seems like a really interesting operator, even though all she really does is bring deployable shields to the attackers.

Has anyone else noticed this bug before, on THunts?  Also, I managed to get this ace on Kafe last night - I can't stress quite how much I've loved the addition of claymores, these past couple of years. They're just so good - the fact that people still don't seem prepared for them is also quite handy, haha (Sadly I missed out on a few more aces, due to either friendlies killing the last enemy -or killing me!- or enemies accidentally killing the last enemy I downed. Ah well - one ace is more than enough for a night!)

Midseason patch is out! Kapkan is no longer limited to 1 EDD per entrance. There are other changes, but this is the only one you should care about. (Castle gets 4 fruit rollups, Wamai gets 2 more frisbees, Clash gets a shotgun, Melusi lost her C4, the Proni has been nerfed)

If I'm understanding correctly, Kapkan can simply double up a single entry-way twice, right? I feel like that's a buff against Bronze/Silver players, but If you're already checking entrances, that seems like fairly minimal change. On the opposite end of things, Castle os easily my favorite operator, and an extra covering seems unnecessary, though I love it. He already served a niche function, but I'm pumped to try new sites with him! Covering 2 windows and 2 access points... that's borderline hedonism!

One Neat Trick with New Kappy is putting traps on opposite sides of a door. Folks will very often check and shoot one obvious trap and then bungle through the other - assuming nobody in their right mind wouldn't just stack the two traps overtop of each other. Also viable is hiding during setup to avoid drones, then packing 2-3 traps on the popular door.

come onnnn, when will you be satisfied, hatch? When is it enough, to be able to jump through? Does anyone else encounter this, much? Happens randomly for me - but more than usual, recently. Cutting out a hole just doesn't do the trick, and then it doesn't break after cutting around more sections of it, either. Pretty annoying, when it causes the timer to be whittled away, while you toil away fruitlessly!

Yeah, it can be pretty finicky like that. I actually did the ol' 'U trick' though, interestingly. Nothing happened though, so I closed it off into a circle, then... nothing. I then extended the circle, and the same thing happened. I dunno, maybe I did it a touch too narrow, at one point or another. Eh, I just wish it was a little more lenient. I mean, I remember occasions ages ago where I could cut a TINY circle and it would collapse! That was extreme, but this isn't really much better. Ah well, Mav's still one of my faves

I think it's mostly to help those who accidentally hit the select-fire button and died because they didn't realise  If they unbound it by default I would've been happy with that. Since it would still be an option for those who use it, without angering the rookies.Personally, what I miss most is the ability to throw back grenades. I know it's been gone for like, a year, but drat throwing a grenade back and killing the original thrower was the best thing ever.  Also drat, after joining my group for a match at the tail-end of their night of games (I was out sadly) I managed to have a hell of a game! Won 3-0 on Plane, managing to survive all three. The last match was even an ace! (Including some hawt deagle and C4 kills  ) Pretty happy about that, but drat it was a pretty high-pressure match.Oh and one more thing - for those who appreciate fine art in Siege, I humbly present to you THIS very important Aruni wall-break ASMR. Not the best ever (thanks Rook, with your impact grenade!) but Aruni's robot fist is always satisfying

Quick question, I stopped playing in like late Y4 and I was trying to determine the fastest way to catch up operators-wise. I see there's a bundle that gives me all Y5 ops but none of the Y6 ones. Once Y7 rolls around, will the Y6 ops be added to this bundle or can I only buy them piecemeal? I know they switched to a new battle pass-only system this year, so it's fine if the answer is "we have no idea yet". Secondly, how's the goon community for this game nowadays?

Bear in mind they only put out 4 operators/year now, and previously they've given a free operator for logging in on xmas day. If you play regularly and get a freebie you could unlock all the Y6 ones before Y7.
