I used to have the same problem when Arrow and Archer were airing at the same time.

Jerkface posted:Barry is so fucken good. The absolutely inept replacement for Barry in the beginning just getting unceremoniously popped by the police after shooting himself in the leg was just perfect. I kinda feel they're laying the groundwork for Barry to have someone dead center in his cross hairs only for him to miss exactly like his replacement did with that guy and the shotgun. The replacement Barry shoots at the dude from less than 10 paces away and manages to completely miss him. Barry not only hit the first guy he killed from 700 yards away, he popped the two guys he was with as well. I'm probably reaching, but I think they set up those two scenes in the premiere to pay off later with Barry missing a high profile and easy mark.

Man the opening scene was so excellent. I rewatched the first season in the days leading up to the premiere and the transition of the story was completely seamless.

Nope! Normal people know that the characters on TV aren't addressing us directly we know instantly without having to think about it. You should probably see a doctor. Do you find yourself getting up to check the thermostat when the actors are wearing winter jackets and you can see their breath?

I have a moderately uncommon first name (Jordan), and growing up, there were Michael Jordan references with people, despite me being neither tall, athletic, or black. Now, one of the most famous Jordans is an alt-right poo poo head, and I hate it

If there's a TV on in the other room sure it might get my attention for half a second, but I wouldn't find it "really confusing" or "really disconcerting". Anyways, glad the shows back. I feel like it knows we want Barry (the fictional TV character, not the forums poster) to do something badass but isn't going to give it to us that easily and is better for it.

I keep laughing about how the Chechen mafia guy thought that Barry wanted to be reassured that he was in fact, evil. Also Fuches looking at a picture of Barry and going “Is that a guy? Looks kinda gender liquid to me...”.

Mulaney whispered “my girlfriend works at Yoshinoya Beef Bowl” in Hader’s ear and made him break.
