It's wild that Lucas couldn't see that everything he created in Star Wars was pointing to the ultimate conclusion that Jedi and Sith, light and dark, were bullshit. The Force doesn't care, it just exists and can be used however you see fit.

It was that loving simple and they hosed it up in every imaginable way. They didn't even put this much thought into the overall story of the trilogy for this several billion dollar franchise they bought.
