Ballot Initiative 301 would Decriminalize the personal use and possession of psilocybin containing mushrooms for People 21 and over, make it the lowest priority for law Enforcement and Prohibit the city from enforcing any related penalties. It would also provide for an 11-member Mushroom Policy Review Panel to assess the results of the ordinance. If passed it would become the first Mushroom decriminalization bill in the USA. If you live in Denver vote yes on this ordinance. If you know anyone in Denver Pressure them to vote yes on this ordinance. If Denver gets the ball rolling maybe your shithole town could be next to decriminalize a safe, non-addictive psychedelic. Imo end the war on Drugs

EA Sports posted:love to induce psychosis and act like its wisdom, legalize shrooms! Shrooms very rarely induce psychosis and usually only in specific circumstances. Someone with no family history of schizophrenia taking a medium dose in a safe environment around people they trust is effectively certain not to experience psychosis. It is very rare to lose contact with reality due to psychedelic consumption and mainly occurs with unusally large doses

ballistics statistics posted:Absolutely, everyone that can buy them will always make sure they are in a safe space with a babysitter and that they're only taking a medium dose and definitely never around sketchy people. You can take high doses while in very bad situations and still keep your cool, especially if you have any experience. The overwhelming majority of people who try it despite not doing it in ideal circumstances do not experience psychosis, even in the event they have an unpleasant experience they do not end up believing untrue things about reality like "my friends are secretly plotting to kill me" at any point. People are far more likely to harm others or themselves while under the influence of alcohol than any psychedelic hallucinogen. Decriminalization and legalization would only make use safer, as it would mean not getting as involved with "sketchy people". The behavioral changes typically induced by psychedelics are a benefit to both the user and society. Psychedelics alleviate depression, they motivate people to undergo positive changes in their life such as quitting alcohol or pursuing their goals more seriously, they make people less selfish and less willing to hold authoritarian views, we even had a thread recently about that last point.
