Introduction: Fusionfall, or Cartoon Network Universe: Fusionfall, was an MMORPG with platforming elements released by Cartoon Network on January 14th, 2009 and developed by Grigon Entertainment, a Korean company. It was developed in Unity back when it was fairly new. When released, you could only complete the 1st area and gain the 1st 4 levels before having to get "unlimited access", which was basically buying a membership to complete the rest of the game and leveling up to 36. However, in early 2010, it became completely free to play without any transactions. Unfortunately, it was shut down by CN in 2013 due to a myriad of reasons. However, it was revived by fans in the form of two servers. The first server, the one that I'll be playing for this in-depth lp, is mostly based on the superior build of fusionfall around the 2009-era. The second version, the one that I might do a thorough let's play on in the future, whenever it comes out and whenever I get very far into it/basically completed, is still being developed. However, it will feature a major overhaul to some of the game's mechanics and improve upon the gameplay and story elements that were in the original. In my introduction video, I go over what I'll be doing in my playthrough for the most part. In episode 0, when I release it, I'll be going over some other aspects of the history of this game. How I'll handle my walkthrough will be slightly different and I'll go over more details about how I'll be progressing through the game in the early stages of my lp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UIr87bRR80 Episode List Episode 0(Redone): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9zafcC1Q5o Episode 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUeMUWF-2g8 Episode 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5NKkWtY77Y Edit(5/18/19): My In-Depth Let's Play has been in session starting from May 10th, 2019. You can ignore what's posted below as that was written on April 30th, 2019. I'll be back to start posting my LP in about 10 days. I'm currently making this post to familiarize people with the game and how I'll mostly tackle it. UnderAAquarianRock fucked around with this message at 16:11 on May 30, 2019 |

Count me in. It takes stones to LP an MMORPG, and you're clearly deeply passionate about this. Though the 10 day wait is going to be rough, I'm excited.Prav posted:the cartoon network whatnow It's a 3D platformer/action adventure MMO anime reimagining of several Cartoon network licenses. It's pretty bonkers.

I wish I could have played it in it’s hayday. It looked pretty fun for an MMO. I’d look into playing it, but moving is gonna restrict my laptop time for...quite a while.

Not to be a dick from the start but it generally helps to have some content when you post an LP.

Yeah, it's a weird sell to me to only post a video from back in October that doesn't really have much to it (especially since there's some feedback in the video saying some issues someone had with your commentary delivery)... I mean, if you plan to have content in 10 days then just wait 10 days to post the thread with actual content. Also just as a heads up, but when you put unlisted videos into a playlist then it shows up publicly; so your video 0 for this LP from back in October is actual visible.

Those are valid criticisms. I assume he was just extremely excited or wasn't acclimated to the sub-forum standards. Still looking forward to someone passionate and analytical to do a playthrough of Fusionfall instead of taking a chance at a random LP on youtube.

UnderAAquarianRock posted:Episode List The commentary itself is good, but you might want to rebake this one to turn down the game volume or turn up your commentary. Hearing the game is important, but so is hearing your commentary. The game is pretty loud and is drowning you out in many circumstances. It's particularly important to hear you since the commentary is -again- very good. You understand many things about game design and are clearly passionate. This is legitimately the only thing stopping me from linking it to friends who are curious about FusionFall. GamesAreSupernice fucked around with this message at 01:45 on May 11, 2019 |

I tried to take what you said, as well as the other constructive criticism of my work, in consideration when making my episode 1 of Fusionfall. Though I have a question considering your feedback. For the review section of my 0th episode, did you have a hard time hearing my commentary? I specifically lowered the game audio in that section of the episode to give its own identity.

I specifically lowered the game audio in that section of the episode to give its own identity. The review section was a lot easier to hear, but it's important to hear your commentary at all times. The game's pretty energetic and loud, so it won't be difficult to make out the sounds or voice acting even if you lower the game audio more. I'm really impressed by how passionate you are about game design, so I don't mean to be rude, I just want people to hear what you've got to say.

Since the 2nd episode's commentary style was different for the gameplay segments when compared to my previous 2 episodes for this LP, I'd like for everyone to vote between which style of commentary I should do from here on out, or at least, tell me.
