I'm siding with X-O here.

Partly because the guy who played Spidey in this released videos of him reading the memes of the 60s series.

I really liked Season 2.

I know this comes up a lot, but imagine back in Season 1 pre-Turn Turn Turn, thinking "Grant Ward shows up? Only if we're lucky."

Also Pre-Crazy Ward was the dullest agent ever.

Then we got context to it and he became the best.

I remember seeing this and thinking "this would've been the wooorst news in S1"

it's telling that I immediately thought of 8 scenes that this could be, and it was none of them.

This was the one I'd have picked.

(and there's like 20 scenes from that episode alone that could be linked)

Just got through Season 4 on my rewatch and Aida was such a good villain. At times, it's a tossup between her and Ward as to who I think the best villain in SHIELD is.

Next up is the Kasius arc. yay.

Good Lord Fisher! posted:

The correct answer is actually framework Fitz

The Doctor also rules. He's solidly a 1b behind Ward and Aida's alternating 1 and 1a.

This still puts him in the top 5 superhero tv show bad guys.

I forgot how fuckin boring Kasius was. I'm sorely tempted to skip the Kasius arc but I am taking the low with the high.

Sinara was the only actually interesting villain in this arc.

Honestly a large part of it is that I'm binging so I'm literally coming off the strongest arc of the show, and to go from Aida to Kasius is... the second biggest downgrade in a superhero show after Heroes Season 2.

Honestly, on rewatch I like Ruby a lot more, knowing how her story ends, and not just being mad at her for cutting off Yo-Yo's arms.

4 is my overall favorite; I'm halfway through 6 on my rewatch now.

I'd rank it
4
2
3
5
6
1
7

tho after 3 it's a little blurry, and if you split 1 by "pre-Paxton" and "post-Paxton" then 1.5 jumps up to between 2 and 4, and 1 drops down below 7.

I was 100% apathetic to him during his entire introductory arc, except maybe slight disappointment that he was the new character instead of Tess who I thought was more interesting.

Then he came back to the present day and was 100x more interesting.

quote:

Cameron will play Bubbles Utonium, whose sweet-girl disposition won America's hearts as a child. She still sparkles as an adult, but her charming exterior belies an unexpected toughness and wit. She’s initially more interested in recapturing her fame than saving the world, but she just might surprise us and herself.[...]

Bennet is set as Blossom Utonium, who, though she was a spunky, conscientious, little-miss-perfect child who holds several advanced degrees, Blossom’s repressed kiddie-superhero trauma has left her feeling anxious and reclusive, and she aims to become a leader again — this time on her own terms.
