This has the most minimalist story of the three movies so far and it's the first one I've walked out of mildly annoyed because of its twist. The entire movie is a treading water filler quest that may as well have been called "John Wick 3, Part 1" Fortunately the action is still really good and worth the price of admission! A lot of people at my screening were laughing out loud at how brutal some of the set pieces were.
