Season was great. One more season of maybe 10 episodes (instead of two seasons) would be about perfect. We need more info about the upside down. Hopper was an rear end in a top hat about 11 and mike, but mike was being a brat. It was a classic version of the scene, but not a feminist or modern take. Also, while it’s cool a certain character was gay, I want them to be bi, because they ship really well, and frankly, there aren’t enough bi characters out there. Just make her bi, and will gay and have a young boyfriend next season.

What it did do was have him partly backslide because he was on a hero’s journey, faced those fears, and by the end got better. A lot of shows properties do this poorly, (marvel) so when a good character makes mistakes to become better, it’s seen as a backpedal, when the reality is it’s more that media literacy has gone down with a majority of viewers for a host of reasons.
