hello bonjour, en francais we call the bread man l'homme de pain, because pain means bread and we're going to see a lot of pain this year and every nyrfan is looking forward to it and hey tony, can you wait until after my postgame interview to get on your phone? i thought you quit twitter...
I'm curious as to how bad everyone other than the top line on the Capitals was.

I have no idea what happened with my team, besides that drafting an above-average goalie like Andersen was the key.

Nobody scored 30 goals (Barkov had 29)
Prokhorkin was the PIM leader with 76. He had 10 on the KHL last season. Tkachuk and Pateryn were the only other two over 50.
My top 6 forwards/3 D got plenty of ice time but bottom half players got very little. I'm not sure if it all even adds up properly to 5x60min per game considering how few penalties everyone took.

Bolts were basically carried by the top line, top D pairing, PP and an adequate goalie tandem, but hey, we made the playoffs in the harder conference so I'm perfectly fine with that. Just hope the other players wake up during the playoffs.

I know hindsight is 20/20, but I don't think you spent enough time calling your team a bunch of plucky underdogs. If there's one thing I know, the plucky underdogs always win. My plucky underdog Avs went from being out of the playoffs to the playoffs to sweeping the Ducks in the first round. Because they're such a bunch of charming characters. All playing their hearts off for scrappy Matt Luff, who they lost (possibly, I wasn't paying attention) only 11 games into the season. Probably cancer.

What a bunch of jerks.
