The Trident feels better on Hard when there's a higher density of enemies.

It's really just that one specific area from the Forges where you have to climb up that clockwork tower, where any of the moving parts can instantly crush you, to be greeted by 8 dudes at the top with knockback attacks that can send you all the way back down to the bottom, or directly into the aforementioned crushing machinery. It's super annoying and no other area required as much precise platforming.

My advice to anyone playing Hexen I & II for the first time would be to use a guide because the key hunt puzzles are super obscure and nobody has time for that poo poo nowadays.

I did appreciate how any enemy you killed with the mace would get wallsplatted, no matter how big.
