After binging intervention, my 600 lb life, and good bones (house reno show) I needed something new to watch. On Netflix is a British series following people who have had bad plastic surgery. They don't block anything out, and you get to see a wide variety of plastic surgery. I think there are episodes for plastic surgery on My Strange Addiction, so I thought why not a thread on plastic surgery. Body mods will one day become common place once we can get robot limbs. Dental work  Pretty much bad work at inserting the screws, or not having them go straight to the bone. Filler  So temporary filler lasts like 9 months, and I guess thats too much for most people so they get permanent filler. No one should get permanent filler as it doesn't stay in one place and travels through the face. Most often in the lips and cheeks people get balls/lumps of filler clump up. The surgeons make cuts and have to squeeze it out. But they have a few more serious cases. They often compare the prices in the UK for filler (150 euros) to the US (1k) and have Americans that come on that went to back door places and were filled with bathroom sealant or other materials. Its bad. One lady ended up losing her arms and feet years after the filling, because it was so toxic to her body. When she was told she would lose them, she started crying because she was so happy that the pain in her body would stop. loving insane Breast Reduction/Augmentation for both females and males   These two pics are on breast rippling, which I found the strangest of all the consequences. In the case of women, sometimes the jobs ended with oddly shaped breasts, or one bigger than the other. Rippling occurs when the implant is too large. One lady was unfortunate to get necrosis, which is when skin/muscle starts to die, but that seems to be a rare case. Some implants burst and need to be removed. For men, one guy lost a nipple during surgery and shopped for prosthetics. Another few had guys get "moob" jobs as the show puts it, and usually there's asymmetry or a concave issue if too much is taken out. Eye Surgery  Bitches want different colored eyes, and this seems to be an implant you put in the eye, above the cornea. Side effects include loss of vision or blindess. Nose Jobs  I was surprised how many people got nose jobs, and of all of the surgeries I found this a little hard to watch. They essentially cut the septum and push the skin above cartilage and then sculpt or add cartilage. Skin Reduction  I thought it was weird that they had so many of these, when many of them had no surgery, and this was an initial removal. There are some people who have botched skin removal surgeries, and there is terrible scarring. Others - hair transplants, vaginoplasty They show some vagina in the first episode but get back to it in the second. The guy who does the surgery is a rounder circular blonde british guy, and all I could think was 'This guys sculpts pussy all day, and I bet he eats hella roast beef sandwiches after work.' Sorry about the low quality pics. I wasn't finding very good examples but I felt like that was encouragement to watch the show because they do like 4-6 people per episode. Would you get any surgeries? I have larger breasts, but admit that I like the artificial roundness of implants. Another part of me wonders what no tits are like? I also have an overbite and wonder if getting that fixed would make me generically hotter? And then I start thinking about how obsessed incels are... But there are also people who are addicted to plastic surgery. Any stories?

There were some reality shows on TV a decade ago that dealt with people who felt they needed lots of plastic surgery. One was Extreme Makeover, and the other one was called The Swan er something like that. It was the apex of morally bankrupt television. Imagine a TV producer telling you that you are in fact quite ugly and they want to make you the centerpiece in a show where they give unrealistic amounts of cosmetic surgery to people. Most of the people weren't actually bad looking. They probably could've just had a spa day and some hair and clothing advice and they'd be just fine. There were people mixed in who really needed corrective surgery for something, but I think those were like 20 percent of the people.

my roommate got me into this show and i hate everything about it. yet whenever she's watching it, i cant help but sit down and watch the trainwreck with her. I feel bad for some of the peeps, especially because its clear they have issues with their bodies and weren't wealthy enough to get the proper level of surgery. (some lady went overseas to get a treatment done by a doctor who was charged with medical malpractice/homicide or something). the lady who lost limbs and digits from filler poisoning was a pretty sad episode too. what a trainwreck

Yeah, I've shown people Angel Heart and they'd say "Why's the kinda hot guy look so familiar to me?" and I say "It's Mickey Rourke lol." most people know him well from Iron Man 2 where he sadly looks really far gone so it's a huge contrast. That being said it really made him fit the parts in The Wrestler and that Tarsem Singh movie Immortals or whatever the one that sucks rear end where he roasts a guy in a bull statue.

woof, i can imagine how some tv producers could abuse their position if its before the surgery. But i noticed a lot of british shows are good at stepping back. Some are brutal with comebacks like 'secret eating' but they force people to think what they consider healthy to be. This guy was on 'My strange addiction'. he sculpts the muscles in clay and brings them to the doctor and he asks for specific implants. there is also a plastic surgery-con in Chicago. They have botox stations. I mean I think he looks ok. 10 years from now?? idk
