This guy I found on Youtube decided to walk across Wales in a straight line. Climbing fences, crossing rivers, falling in sheep poo poo, running from farmers on their private property, the true Wales survival experience. Mission across Wales Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7w986ni7_g Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuRgrhJemQM Dell_Zincht posted:So when he's about to cross the lake he mentions that he's doing this for charity (one of his friends was a victim of knife crime, senselessly murdered on his way home from the pub one night) and has actually linked to the charities donation page in the pinned comment underneath the video. Is it against forum rules to post that link here, too? Knowing how generous goons have been in the past we could really make a decent contribution. those hedgerows sure are something, we don't really have anything like that in the US. Why not just rip them out and leave the fence?

we just watched this last night. I liked the bit where he crossed the raging torrent of a river on a bridge that was barely keeping its poo poo together. The guy is clearly unprepared as gently caress and he doesn't care a bit.

Apparently they still use 4:3 aspect ratio cameras in Wales in the year 2019. Where the hell do you even get an HD camera that films in a non-widescreen ratio?

I guess US farmland is more of a flat plane so it's not an issue. if you remove a hedgerow you can get hit with an unlimited fine

I'm not sure if it could have been avoided with something like that or not though.

This guy reminds me of the dude who filmed his multiple journeys across canada by sneaking into freight trains (and which video series got him banned from the US and Canada for 5 years). I love people doing dumb poo poo like this. e: oh my god he's only 30 minutes into his journey and he's winded and stuck in nettles this is so stupid i love it

On a small island like this you don't have to make many ecological changes to wipe out multiple small species and their predators.
