Seals and sea lions are great! We get NZ fur seals and lots of sea lions around Kangaroo Island here, great to watch from a distance (they can get grumpy and are deceptively fast and strong even on land, and it's best not to disturb wild critters for no good reason). Sometimes you see them out fishing and while that means you're unlikely to be catching anything, they're still cool to watch!

Philip Zimbardo, who did the famous Stanford Prison Experiment, demonstrating that over a short period of time the social dynamics of authority can severely impact people's empathy, and Stanley Milgram, who did the famous Milgram Experiments showing that people will defer to authority even when it means hurting other people with no good reason, were in the same class in the same high school.

Maxfield Parrish is cool. Dude could do blue with the best of them. A funny and sad thing is that at the end of his life he lamented that he'd spent his life on "bad pictures" instead of making music. So, just in case if you wanted to know whether being successful makes you happy.

That's very interesting, thank you.

To go back just a little, Cree Summer is a really interesting figure in voice acting, even beyond how many roles she's had. Her being fired as the original voice of Meg on Family Guy (before production, even before Lacey Chabert was cast and then un-cast) because the producers thought it would be insensitive to have a black actress voice a white character led to a minor controversy, and Summer commenting that she should be able to play a role of any race. Of course now that issue is very prominent but she was ahead of her time publicly taking the "actors should be able to play anyone" stance that is now so controversial.

Also she's been friends since childhood with Tara Strong, another voice actress whose IMDB page is crammed with familiar favorites.
