loving awesome first three episodes! My personal favorite was the Pippi Longstocking speech. :3:

Also, no idea where they are going with the Deep, but I rather enjoy his arc so far.

Okay. That might be true.

And yes, the show is called Happy, not Lucky. :v:

Oh, I just remembered the one question I had.

So... Raynor puts 2 and 2 together and is instantly sniped or something because Vought can't let some info get out...

But then The Boys are allowed to just... leave? How does that work? I guess we'll find out later but just seems kinda weird and they should themselves be questioning this more? Its not like they got out of there super fast, a sniper definitely could have killed more of them.

Nah, there was something different at work. Sniper bullets do not give you a nosebleed three seconds before they hit you.

Yeah that's fair. But its not like that was homelander lasers. So I guess some other supe? But then again the question, why not the boys?

But I guess its meant to be an obvious mystery. Just seems like the boys should discuss how loving weird that was.

I was thinking more along the lines of something pharmaceutical. Something that was injected beforehand and triggered under certain circumstances. For example getting or figuring out damning evidence on Vought.

Or like, nanobots, son.

Let's see if we will find out.

Because every square inch of Vought tower is under surveillance, and Homelander can’t smooth talk his way out of 40 security camera videos of him murdering an old man.

Also for anyone not clued in, Stormfront’s being an Oregonian is key because Oregon, not surprisingly, was originally settled by Southern white supremacists who believed that white people needed a land all their own, away from freemen and Natives, and the encroachment of immigration. It was basically supposed to be a White Nationalist paradise, and every racist cuckoo in the country knows it, so that’s why Portland in particular is kind of a national flashpoint in these current protests. The Portland PD is probably, conservative guess, 90% white supremacists at least.

Here’s an absolutely awesome podcast about the settling of Oregon by racist idiots

Jack Gleeson quit acting once he was done with the show specifically because of people berating him personally for playing a character who was a monster.

How? Just how is that even possible?!? I can maaaybeee believe that stupid people think that shows in a contemporary real-life setting show real people followed by invisible cameras that they totally are unaware of? Maybe? But in a pure fantasy setting, with magic and dragons and poo poo? HOW? WHY?

Will people walk up to Stormfront's actress, congratulate her on her political views and then ask her to zap some minorities with her super powers? :psyduck:

I get the feeling that Vought didn't know how crazy strong Homelander was going to be. They expected a top tier super, I don't know if they expected basically a god

The gap between Homelander and everyone else is staggering. I'd say it's larger than the gap between Maeve and a top tier human.

What are Maeve’s powers anyway? Just strength and resilience?
