Trump supposedly had an electability problem and yet here we are. there's an enormous double standard when it comes to D versus R candidates, though. the republicans have a well-oiled propaganda machine that will happily seize on any gaffe or turn any campaign promise into red meat for their base, regardless of merit, while their candidate literally boasts about his ability to murder someone on the street without even hurting the polls.
