The forums database and the store databases are separate and on separate servers, making this harder. I'm also a lot less inclined to screw around querying the store database, since while we do not retain any credit card information, purchase records are a sensitive thing by nature.
Is there a way to compare the ban list against whether an account is currently banned, instead of directly against purchases?
