I can't remember where I read it, but it's always stuck with me - The police aren't there for justice, they are just there to try and sort poo poo out, and get things back to what passes for normal.

As far as the whole porno-pass thing, they're probably pissed about losing the revenue from the one person who wouldn't use a VPN or something to keep getting it for free. Plus if I remember rightly Pornhub were basically in charge of the 'project', and I'm sure they were in a big ol' hurry to alienate people using their site.

They probably planned on doing what happens to most government IT projects. Take buckets of money, then deliver something late that barely works.

To be honest, the way they paint it in the media, Corbyn himself is casually striding the corridors of parliament, slinging slurs at everybody while they gasp and swoon in terror. All helpless to stop his rampage of anti-semetic terror.

I can't wait for the absurdity to reach a point where they're printing that Corbyn leapt onto the table during PMQ, threw out a nazi salute, and started outlining his policies to purge the country. :rolleyes:

So, apparently that whole �39b we totally weren't going to pay the EU! is now going to get paid, and that'll be up until 2060-ish. I would've thought that might've come up at some point. :confused:

It's certainly a hell of a stick to beat the horse with, paying the EU for up to the next 40 years, and having gently caress all to show for it.
